Policy Quoting

• The Policy Quoting system's user friendly entry screens allow agents or internal personnel to quickly enter the information needed to rate and issue a quote.  When using the browser-based Policy Quoting system, agents can quote from anywhere, anytime.  Agents can offer multiple choices to the insured by using the helpful cloning feature, which permits variables, such as coverage levels and deductibles, to be quickly changed and recalculated.  Once the insured is satisfied with the results, the agent can print the quote immediately.
  
  
• The Policy Quoting software runs on FIS' high-speed servers.  FIS is responsible for maintaining the rating software and the parameters used to calculate policy premium.
  
  
• Flexibility is the key to the FIS Quoting software, which supports both commercial and personal lines of business.  A new line of business or a new state can be added without costly software re-writes.  Rates and rating algorithms are stored in parameter tables rather than within the program code.  Once the rate parameters have been established, most rate changes can be made in minutes, without additional programming.
